About the Authors
I am Professor (Dr.) Birendra Kumar Tamta, an academician, researcher, and practitioner in the field of Ayurveda.
After completing my Bachelor of Ayurveda from Shri Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, I pursued my MD in Ayurveda from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and again from Shri Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. My professional journey includes serving as a Medical Officer in various hospitals under the Uttarakhand Government.
Following my selection by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, I was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Uttarakhand Ayurveda University, Gurukul Campus, Haridwar, where I have been teaching Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana.
Over the years, through dedication, research, and academic involvement, I have contributed to multiple research papers, articles, and books, including:
